Are you travelling in the south of Tanzania, or on your way to Malawi or Zambia? Then do not by-pass Rungwe district, one of the most beautiful and unspoiled areas of Tanzania in the south west of the country! Rungwe boasts numerous natural attractions. Volcanic mountains, beautiful crater lakes and green valleys make it a hikers paradise. Being the greenest and one of the most fertile areas in the country, this is where the famous Rungwe tea prospers.

Rungwe is an area in the south west of Tanzania. Rungwe Tea & Tours is located in the town of Tukuyu, 70 km south of Mbeya and on the main road to the Malawi border (40 km). Our office is near the post office in Tukuyu.

How to get there
There are daily coach services (Sumry, Sabco Hekima) to and from Dar es Salaam. From Mbeya/Tazara train station dalla dallas take you to Tukuyu in just a bit more than one hour.

*Kindly Don't Arrange tours with flycatchers in the streets come to the office Please!!!

* Tour fees include all entrance fees, a tour guide and a village development fee. Tours do not need advanced booking, except the tea factory tour.

*Except the tea factory,a tour needs 5 days notice or more before arriving in Tukuyu, Rungwe.
